Wow, it is now September 2010. Time sure is flying. I'm very happy that we have had some cooler days and have been able to turn the a/c off. Katie and Ellie are both in cheerleading. Katie for the 2nd grade Perry Blue team and Ellie for the 3rd/4th grade MacArthur Generals. All the girls in the grade school wear the same uniforms. They both seem to be enjoying it a lot. I enjoy getting to know the other Moms

September 6 is Steve's birthday. We had family over on Sunday for a cook-out. Steve's parents are in Canada but Doug, Jaime, Tristen and Jaime's neices came over plus Tammy and Vaughn and Tammy's friend Kelly. Drew and his friend Jesse were here. We were missing Joel as he went to Holiday World with Corey. It was an all 80's weekend on B105.7 so we had the radio going and the corn bags a flying! Hoosier Labor Day Weekend at the Fites.

She was SO excited that she said, "I can't stop smiling".


When they actually did the piercing, she had a bout 2 second look of great pain on her face that sent the tears straight to my eyes!! Then it was all over and she was so happy!! She is just thrilled and it's something that she has been wanting for awhile. Her older sister does NOT want this done, and that is just fine too!
